Yes: We are sending an actual-size Thali model, 18 x 18 inches, printed on a 5mm sun board with a design on both the front and back.
Description: In Nepal, maternal nutrition advice is often hard to follow, especially for families with low literacy. As part of the Care Companion Program (CCP), Noora Health worked closely with mothers, nurses, and local communities to design a tool that makes nutrition guidance clear and practical. The result was the Thali Model — a simple visual plate that shows what a balanced meal looks like during and after pregnancy, using everyday foods and familiar portion sizes.

The model was created in alignment with nutrition guidelines from the National Health Education, Information and Communication Centre (NHEICC). It features locally available ingredients like gundruk, saag, lentils, rice, and eggs — photographed and arranged in a typical thali setup, with household bowls (katoris) representing portion sizes. This made the tool instantly relatable, even in crowded, low-resource hospital settings.

After testing and feedback, the Thali Model was introduced across CCP sessions in hospitals in Kathmandu, Janakpur, Surkhet, and Sudurpashchim. As of 2025, it has been officially reviewed by NHEICC and is set to expand further across Nepal. The tool is already helping families better understand what to eat, sparking conversations, and making health education more engaging and memorable.
