Description:	ESOP’s Fables is a thoughtfully crafted collection of seven illustrated bedtime stories that bring modern workplace values to life through engaging narratives and striking design. Developed by the team at Plum, the book bridges professional principles such as inclusion, accountability, equity, and bias—with timeless storytelling that resonates with children and working parents alike. The heart of ESOPs Fables lies in its illustrations. Each artwork was crafted not just to visualise the story, but to carry its emotional and conceptual weight—bringing workplace values like inclusion, shared ownership, and mental wellbeing into a child’s world in a way that feels playful and natural. The illustration style takes cues from Indian folk art but strips it down to clean, modern forms—bold silhouettes, minimal lines, and exaggerated expressions. This fusion allowed us to maintain a sense of timeless storytelling while giving it a visual language that feels fresh and relevant for today’s readers. To further push the impact on print, we stepped away from Plum’s brand palette and adopted a striking monochromatic colour treatment. This bold choice helped unify the book visually, draw attention to character dynamics, and create recall without relying on excessive detail or colour noise.
