| Description: | Everest Base Camp Mussoorie is located at the foothills of Sir George Everest’s peak, not at the foothills of Mount Everest. Hence the story we wanted to own was of the Great Trigonometrical Survey of India - A story of mapping a nation with numerous triangles which began at the location with Sir George Everest leading the pack. While the intent was sharp, it’s one thing to tell the story in a coffee table book but another to tell it through the tableware! To bring this rich narrative into the guest experience, the designs took cues from Sir George Everest’s expedition. Fine linework mirrors triangulation patterns used in early cartography. The colour palette draws from the backdrop of Deodar forests and the muted hues of the survey era. This integration of design and story allows brand engagement at a sensory level. The tableware doesn’t just serve food; it quietly reinforces the essence of the place. It transforms each meal into a moment of connection with the legacy of exploration. By embedding narrative into functional design, EBC Mussoorie creates a brand experience that speaks of the real story behind the summit. |
